After-Hours and Weekend Care

If you have a nonemergency medical concern, but don’t want to wait for the next available appointment at your primary care physician’s office, South Sunflower County Hospital’s urgent care facilities may be just what the doctor ordered. 

At Delta Primary After-Hours Care and Indianola Family Medical Group, our board-certified physicians and Advanced Practice Providers will provide prompt and timely care of acute conditions for patients of all ages.

South Sunflower County Hospital urgent care locations can provide for minor problems, including (but not limited to) the following:

  • Sore Throat, Cough, Flu and Cold Symptoms

  • Sinus Infection

  • Ear Ache/Infection

  • Stomach Flu (Gastritis)

  • High Fever 

  • Mild Allergic Reactions

  • Rash

  • Headache

  • Minor nose bleeds

  • Bladder Infection

  • Pink Eye

  • Minor Injuries

  • Cuts and abrasions 

  • Sprains

  • Other discomforts that need treatment before you can be seen by your primary care

*Patients needing after-hours care will present to the east side entrance of IFMG located on Moody Street, and press the intercom button to alert our reception team of their arrival. Patients will be notified when to enter the building, to ensure proper social distancing.
